Very occasionally we think that with all of our experience we have seen and built everything at least once...but that is of course, far from the truth. There is always a requirement that we would never have thought of, a need that is unique to you.
And if you need a one off custom built vehicle, then we're here to help you. It may be quite simple jobs or a more complex one, requiring weight and stress calculations to ensure we keep within the gross weight of the vehicle and avoid overload of an individual axle. Which ever the case may be we'd like to hear from you.
Our experience ranges from the design and construction of NBC (Nuclear Biological and Chemical) rapid response vehicles through to two specially designed dog transport vehicles recently built and shipped to the island of Malta.
In just the past few months we have installed working log burning stoves, central heating boilers and vending machines into our specially built vehicles. We've built a mobile veterinary surgery within a long wheel base Transit Van and refurbished a fleet of buses, converting them into a variety of mobile training vehicles.
We are currently working on projects to install flight training simulators into a fleet of trucks and another job involves fitting a display of working smart boards into a DAF truck.
We can undertake all aspects of the job covering:
- Original creative concepts
- Engineering evaluation and calculations
- Vehicle body building
- Body extensions such as pods and gull wings
- Installation of communications systems
- Installation of catering equipment
- Creation of toilet and wash room facilities
- Functional and decorative furniture
Most of our special vehicles are built new on makes including Iveco, Fiat and Mercedes-Benz, but we can also refurbish or re-build on an existing vehicle chassis.
